Believe it or not, these are plastic sweet peas.
Aren't they lovely?
Surprisingly realistic looking too.

These adorned the crown of a wide brimmed, plastic straw hat that I am freshening up in preparation for selling in my etsy shop.
The flowers got an amonia and warm water bath and once dry,
I'll be sewing them (not hot glue!) back on the way I found them.
The jaunty head gear will be available to purchase soon for your Easter Parade and summer activities.

Speaking of that egg holiday, I just listed a pair of reproduction (but now vintage),
I grew up eating soft boiled eggs for breakfast with toast fingers for dipping.
Did you?

Your flowers ARE gorgeous and how nice of you to give them a fresh new lease on life...
feels like Spring is in the air at your house :)
I am not a fan of wet egg yolks at all...but do like the idea of egg cups and those are sweet and special!

How good of you to wash those flowers...and then sew them back on! You are such a workhorse! ha! Never eat soft boiled eggs.... but I do like a fried egg with runny yoke!!!! Yummmmm!
I have always wanted to eat an egg in a cup like that. I believe one of my books as a child showed kids eating eggs at breakfast in cute little cups but I had no idea then how the egg was cooked. I need to try it!
such nice colors in the sunshine you have there .... we've not had a sunny day since Jan 3rd .... can you hear my violin?
I still have soft build eggs, but never figured out how to eat one perched in an egg cup - I guess I'm just not british enough or something :)
those are adorable egg cups!
