This is a beautiful box on so many levels. The first scripture is old testament, the second is new testament. The heart in the straw symbolizing God's love incarnate as the baby Jesus.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
