Signs of Spring

NOT!
Western Missouri and eastern Kansas got another dose of winter this past weekend.
The results are beautiful.
We got rain, snow, freezing rain and then more snow.
Not much accumulation, just enough to make driving anywhere an adventure. It's the darn ice!
Cold temps the next few days means not much will melt.
Two weeks ago, I said, "this has been a very long winter."
Now I predict we will have winter right up until March 20. Maybe even beyond. Maybe there will be no spring. Maybe there will be snow one day (winter) and blistering heat the next (summer).
Winter is determined to muscle out spring this year.
Someone explain Global Warming to me?

Makes me shiver! You know...we could have snow flurries tomorrow or Wednesday here in Houston! What is going on???????

I so hoped we'd hit the end of our snowstorms (silly me, this is Michigan!) but alas! We're in the midst of one right now. Yours is lovely!

I am with you girl! Winter has been too long. I have the doldrums bad. Your pictures are very pretty though :) Enjoy your day.

Fab pictures! I can't believe you've still got snow around, you beat us hands down! We've had the big melt although there's more forecast for Central Europe, I've had more than enough for this year. Mx

Oh, I had better send you a cup full of violets. You are right, the ice is pretty, but getting anywhere on it is ugly!

You know how I love you, my dear BFF, however, you can keep the ice and the snow. By the grace of God, we are missing the next round and it is going further north! Stay warm and safe. Ice is a killer. Hugs,

I think you may be getting it worse than we are -- though it's snowing now, and I don't want to speak too soon! Lovely, though.
