Good Things Come...

...Wrapped in a ridiculous amount of colored tissue, ribbons and trims...

...Plus a few pages of Trader Joe's "Swimsuit Issue".

I had sent Patty junk silver plate labeled with the words I wanted each piece to "say".

She sent back art pieces with my tags altered!
It's magic!
Her husband, Mr. Magpie, has a way with a hammer. And Patty is a prolific artist who has a way with presentation.
I have been telling her for months that she needs to open an etsy shop.
I mean, wouldn't you love to have some cutlery like this of your own, or any of her other art or stuff?
(if you know Patty, you are nodding "yes")
Now, go visit the Magpie's Nest and add your two cents.
The chant goes like this,
"et-sy shop, et-sy shop, et-sy shop."
I am past being subtle!

I've been telling her that for quite a while.............good luck with that!!!LOL
I was out in the garage pounding out some silverware yesterday- breathe was one of the words I did- might have been because I was having trouble doing that in the 100 degree heat!!!
Patty and the Mr. did a great job and her presentation is wonderful, as always!

haha the Queen of Subtle Ms N!
I truly DO appreciate your nudging and who knows one day I may just take the plunge ... you certainly will be a perfect resource on 'how' to do an etsy shop ... your RubyFloy is really a great example of a successful one!!!

I had fun wrapping each piece of cutlery ... had a giggle when I saw I stamped 'reach for the stars' on your Basil ... it wasn't planned, just grabbed a stamp, but it would be a good thing to have Basil that tall ... I think?

thanks to you for the generous trade of cutlery pieces ... they are all flat already ... words to come

thanks also for the grins this morning Nathalie
and for the very sweet PUSHY post heehee ;)
Love it oxo

Patty's excellent cutlery sure looks good on your blog. She does an excellent job stamping on metal. These pieces are wonderful, and the ribbons and bows look like added collage fodder to play with. And I've asked Patty about selling her art, but I understand how right now, she is content to make it for herself and her very, very lucky friends.

Oh yeah, those are way cool- I especially like the idea of using the tines of a fork as a little sign holder.
