Currently I'm Working On...

A junk sampler a la Tim Holtz.
His is Patchwork Pandemonium.
Mine is Hardware Hullabaloo.
Authentic rusted relics soon to be mounted on color tinted papers
and attached to painted wire screen salvaged from an antique pie cupboard.
Say that 5 times fast!

Amazingly enough, the rusted things were all waiting for me in one tattered box I had squirreled away in the laundry room. The vintage picture frame was a thrift store find.
It all came together like it was meant to be!
But the most amazing thing is that I remembered where to find everything!

What are you currently working on?

Don't you just love it when it all "just works"! Some projects just fall into place, while others you have to work and work on. Both are satisfying in their own ways though!

What am I working on? Hmmm... taking a bit of a hiatus since I broke my finger, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things soon... I have a bunch of new yarn just crying to be played with!

Awfully pretty, Nathalie. One of my favorite things I bought at a flea market in France was an old, rusty key. You have given me an idea of what to do with it!

Oh, Nathalie!!! I LOVE this! It turned out beautifully, and is a perfect idea for me to use someday when our addition is complete. Just LOVE it. Thanks for sharing this idea. I am currently working on... just papercuts and trying to add some pictures to our walls after living here for nearly 6 years. finally feeling more like "home". :-) Yippee!
