Meet Scooter

Our new to us,
basset hound puppy.
He is one, hard to photograph, critter!
Always moving.
And wants to be where you are-
and right under your feet!

He stays still as long as you pet him,
like Seth is doing here.

The amazing thing about this photo is that Rebecca is eating popcorn and Scooter's nose is not in the bag! He is always hungry. The vet said that's the nature of the breed.
Always willing to eat!

Woo hoo! Life is good for our bi-color eyed dog (with matching blue and brown collar!).
Lucy, our St. Bernard, has her good days and bad days with Scooter.
He has a lot of energy and wants to play, but
she just wants to lie around the house.
Can you see the conflict of interests?

love the basset hound hopefully he's not too much of a howler..... but there's lot of personality to make up for it I'm sure :) It'll be years till we get another pup or dog (probably dog..... ) after losing enzo it's so hard to go through that again.... we still have one border collie left and she's got a few good years left in her... I'm sure of it :) (she's 12....) you kiddos are CUTIES - xo, anna

I do love a new dog and I surely love Basset Hounds.

Did you know that among some native American tribes, a dog with bi-coloured eyes was considered a "Spirit" animal? The blue eye could still see what was happening in the spirit world and thus could better take care of the humans it had been sent to...

Enjoy that pup!
