Laura is one of those quick draw people who claimed one of my postcards in a giveaway. It was first come first served with an address. She was so inspired by the whole postcard mail art thing, that she sent me this woven offering. Such a sweet image!
Not to be out done, I created this for her. Childish silliness with unrelated children's book writing that vaguely "works".
No sooner did I mail my card than this one arrived the next day (she had mailed her two cards at the same time, but this one traveled slower). I love the whole vintage-y campiness of it!

Oh WOW! My post card came yesterday afternoon and I Just Love it!! I hadn't been on line for a couple days, so just saw this post now. Thank you for showing my mail art AND thank you SO much for the great postcard. One of my favorite things is anything vintage, so the card was really neat. It reminds me of the old Dick, Jane, and Sally reading books in early elementary school.
She's not the only one inspired by your postcards! I just bought a "postcard pack" of heavy stock so I could play too!
