Kids make the best art. They really do. Their design sense is perfect because it isn't shaped by convention. And that is why I am recently so inspired by my daughter Rebecca's drawings.
She im mediately recognized this ATC as a portrait of herself, but vehemently pointed out that there was no "K" in her name! And no "Y" for that matter either! Then rattled off "R-e-b-e-C-C-a" with fierce precision, because obviously I had forgotten how to spell.
So my muse is a critic.
No matter.
I am still The Mom.
On a side note: I got a phone call from Carole yesterday and we chatted for over an hour like she lived down the street instead of half way around the world! She validated my child-like drawing idea so next you will be seeing "Rebecky" translated into stitchery for our next QB5 swap.
This ATC was an inspired warm up.
Thanks Carole!
(((hugs)))

Carole is so encouraging, isn't she! Maybe she should be a motivational speaker...I'll suggest that. Love Rebecca's art....
This is GREAT!! A super partnership!
This is one of the most remarkable ATCs I have seen in a long time! Incredible, Nath! I love it, or can you TELL? Keep working it! hugs
Rebecca's creation is precious, what a sweet lil muse she is! Can't wait to see you use it.
I am still stitchless here in VA ... yup so much like clueless!
I woke up in the middle of the night after chatting with Carole on the phone still thinking about how special it all was!

the thing is, yes it is a child's art but it is an artistic child's art... lovely
This is a totally fabulous card. Bravo to you -- and your muse!
Totally fab! isn't it great to see Rebecca's inherited your eye for art.
You've posted some super cool things in the past month, love that box soooo much!!

Hi Nathalie I got your email and i responded, but it was sent back as undeliverable. it makes no sense!!
well it is crazy because even when I comment here, it comes back to me as undeliverable! that is so weird, so I wasn't even sure if you got it, but i guess it does register my comments! yay!
so I would cut it up and sell it by the page, put them in a plastic sleeve and sell the book by the page, you will have a much better chance of selling them to be framed or used as art and you might even do better than what you are currently asking!
