You need to look up the shop, Cups of the Past. I stumbled over this gem of a place while searching for something else (you know how rabbit trails go...). She sells the kind of things I love AND she has a section of her shop entitled, "orphans"(!) for those odd pieces missing a cup or a saucer. Is that the best, or what?
I need to mention (because I am getting many undeserving compliments),
that these cups pictured are not mine.
They are from Cups of the Past!
So if you like what you see, check out her shop!

Thanks for the link Nathalie. Love your rose cup and the bear cup is one lilke I've never seen, really adorable. I love treasure hunts. I found a pretty sherbet cup and saucer when I was hunting one day. Had to get it.
I love that...orphans...how cute. My mom just gave me some orphans from her collection.
beautiful cups! and the whole orphaned cup idea is really catching on (lol) .... thank you for the link too!
Blessings on your day!
Poor little orphans, all they want is a loving home.........!
Actually, these photos of orphan cups remind me of when I decided that we would sell our blasted Furby. No one is allowed to touch the Furby in case they set it off (it's one of the early models that can only be shut up in a certain way, a certain way we've long forgotten), so it lives in a dark, lonely cupboard. So, ok, I'll sell it on ebay. Onto ebay I go to get an idea of value, and well. you have never seen such a sad category - hundreds of sad little unloved Furby faces looking out, all sizes, all colours, all with their eyes staring right into your heart.
Hence, our blasted Furby continues to live in the cupboard occasionally let out for social time.
That was a very long way of saying nice cups!
Wow! Great link,,thanks for sharing.
