A Beautiful TEAm

Serendipity never ceases to amaze me.
At first glance, you would think this cup and saucer went together.
They both have robin's egg blue coloring;
they both have filigree gold designing and gold rims.
But the cup is ceramic and the saucer is china.
The cup is one of three I bought at the thrift store two years ago.
The saucer was a thrift store find I gleefulyy pounced on last week.
A match meant to be.
And my new favorite pair to drink tea from!

I love when things go together like that even if they aren't meant to. The saucer and teacup are very pretty. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

Sometimes the things that go together are not obvious to us mortals... you have a sense about these things. And you need a button for Hoardica's blog that I can find easily.

Thanks for dropping by today. I was out all day, and didn't have a chance to stop by for tea with you. You have a lovely set of tea orphans, much more beautiful than anything I have in my cupboard. I really like this set and can see why you use it so often. Happy very late in the day Tea.

I love your TEAm! And, again, I am amazed that you keep all those orphans in your head for when you are out and about ... I hardly remember what's in my pantry, my closet, or my china cabinet when I'm out shopping :)

So glad you could TEAm up this week!!!
