Rebecca has had a sore throat, but thankfully she enjoys (warm) tea. Here we are set up with a small pot of honeyed Celestial Seasonings Blueberry for her and a pot of plain ol' Lipton black tea for me, hiding under a cat cozy (I like my tea piping hot!) An old suitcase not only makes our tea feel like a picnic, but is the perfect elevation for cross legged seating.
Not pictured-- the large stack of books she chose for our reading pleasure. I think I need to brew more tea!

How sweet that Rebecca got to join us today. I hope all that tea will soothe her sore throat. I love the vignette, too. The old suitcase is perfect. And I swear, that cat cozy is so realistic, I thought it was a real cat when I first saw it.
Happy Tea Tuesday, dear. BTW, I like some tea with cream in it, too. Japanese tea not so much, but most others are wonderful with it.
Yes...I wondered about the cat hair myself when I saw that. hee hee! Hope Rebecca is better now. You need to read to her ALL DAY!
that is just so sweet! I miss those pint sized tea parties! I do hope her throat is soothed today .... and I hope yours doesn't get hoarse with all that reading you have lined up :) ..... oh, and lipton is reliable and trustworthy isn't it?

How cute! I remember those days when I was Rebecca's age. In fact I still hve a mini tea set I used when I was about her age. Hope she is feeling better. Tea always helps me. I love how you used the suitcase and love the cat tea cozy too. Lovely tea day with you both.
I thought the same as Elizabeth! I wondered what the cat was doing on the table until I looked a bit closer! I hope Rebecca is feeling better soon.

is like like a very nice pot of tea?
So cute...what a fun memory you are creating.
Looks like a wonderful tea party! Tea parties were the only girlie thing I did when I was little... Maybe that's one reason I still love it so.
I hope dear little Rebecca is feeling better - tea for 2 with a pile of books sounds a great way to recover.

This is precious ~ just so precious!
